Does a yeast infection cause bumps on your vagina? i know this is too much info but Iam 29 weeks pregnant and I was wondering because Ive had the infection for about a month, I didnt worry about treatment because usually when I get a discharge like infection it usually goes away, but this time it was very itchy and whould swell my vagina but since this one didnt go away I went to the doctor on monday, he checked me and took samples and said I had a yeast infection.
Now that the infection is clearing up I took a look in the mirror today and noticed small bumps on my vagina. ( I didnt do this before because my stomach is so big I have to use a mirror and I know he had to see the small red bumps on my clit, when he checked me, but he didnt say anything. So I was wondering is this normal? Will they go away? Is this something more?

I have a yeast infection (for about 6 days now) and as of tonight I have noticed flesh colored bumps with no puss inside the opening of my vagina. I am not sexually active so I do not think it is from a STD, could this be a result of the yeast infection since I am quite swollen and was previously on strong antibiotics from an illness? A yeast infect. can cause redness,soreness,and itching. You will also have a cottage cheese looking discharge, it is thick and will be on the skin down there. Antibiotics will give you a yeast infection and your doctor should have given you medicine for it when he/she gave you the antibiotics, if not you need to always tell them you need something every time you take them. The bumps you see may just be normal on the skin there and they look red and swollen from the yeast infec. Does a yeast infection cause bumps sometimes?
Last week I had a UTI which was causing my bladder to leak a little before i could get to the bathroom, and my pee burned, but I drank cranberry juice and it went away for awhile, but now I think I have a yeast infection b/c at the beginning of this week my vagina itched really bad with some burning and I started to notice some white discharge so I figured its a yeast infection b/c i get them sometimes but i never noticed bumps. I looked and in between my lips there are skin colored bumps which I thought could just be from irritating it by scratching so much. I took Monistat thursday and today i didn’t notice any white discharge, but the bumps still itch. I’m just not sure if bumps are normal or not. I did itch it a lot before I treated it. I also thought maybe its from the UTI cause of my bladder leaking causing bacteria. What do you think? I am going to go to the doctors this week I’m just nervous it could be something else. I just wanted some opinions before i go. Thanks.
I think the bumps are from the bladder leakage, the tissue inside lips are very sensitive and delicate so the leakage and the scratching caused the bumps. the acid in urine will cause bacteria to grow, see your doctor as soon as possible and he will prescribe a cream and possible oral medication to clear it up. Don’t worry it is nothing serious.

The answer to your question is yes, it can cause bumps, just like it can cause bumps in your mouth if you have an oral thrush infection.

well about july i got STD tested HIV,gohnaria,clamydia,sypilis..everything came out neg..but the doc did say i had a yeast infection..took monastate..went away now its back just wondering could this yeast infection cause bumps…i didnt get tested for herps but i was thinking maybe it would had been notciable cuz she did look up my ( your knw) and she said every thing looked fine just wondering any 1 have and simaler exp?
i have a couple but not all the way in my vag just the beginng i guess you can call it the front …umm and yea i remeber i got the YInfection wen i started walking every day in july…but idk
could be a regular pimple or maybe an ingrown hair. one thing i should mention though it could be a genital wart (HPV) they can test you for HPV and you could still be negative for the pap smear but haave the kind that causes genital warts. ( i know cause i once found a little bump in the front opening of my Vagina, went to the gyno and thats what it was even though my pap smear came out fine). OH BTW when i went to the gyno he didnt even see it thats how small it was, i had to point it out to him.
